Great value for money. The hotel is nestled around a beautiful garden in the center, which gives it a peaceful vibe. I loved staying in the rooms with en suite bathroom near the back of the house, they are quiet and spacious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and breakfast included is a cherry on top.
All was great, nothing to complain about.

Beautiful place with friendly owners
We stayed at an annex down the street from La Casa Amarilla. The owners, Richard and Alba, were incredibly accommodating, giving us our own room instead of a dorm room for the same price. The main building is beautifully restored with a rooftop terrace and a garden. Richard and Alba were also great at giving advice and helping us out with recommendations. a great experience and worth a visit.

This charming hostel offers comfortable rooms with en-suite facilities overlooking a beautiful river and lush foliage. The central courtyard is a relaxing oasis with murals painted by a family member, and the roof deck provides a picturesque view of the illuminated church nearby. The staff is kind and helpful, and the modern shared kitchen is perfect for self-catering guests. There are also tuk-tuks available for easy transportation.
The remote location of the hostel may be difficult to reach and the journey to get there might not be pleasant, as visitors have reported varying modes of transportation.

What a fantastic Easter break! The hotel was in the perfect location, just a short walk away from the town center and a beautiful church. The room was clean with beautiful decorations and the breakfast was delicious. I loved the river tour, which was organized by the hotel, and it gave me the opportunity to see a range of wildlife. The staff were friendly and made you feel welcomed from the moment you walked in.
The staff were not always easy to find when we needed them. There were a few times we had to wait for someone to come to the front desk, which wasn't ideal.

My experience over Christmas was not great. the staff was not very accommodating and didn't seem to care about the guests.
